Dear Parents/Guardians of 8th-grade students! CHS Counselors will be in Mr. Rumohr’s and Mr. Hall’s Social Studies classes on Tuesday, February 13, and Wednesday, February 14, to meet with all 8th-grade students to complete Educational Development Plans as well as make course requests for their 9th-grade schedule. Course requests will be made on these days but students and parents will be able to view these requests on Parent Portal. Any changes may be requested by email to your student’s assigned CHS counselor. CAPS CREW has two great opportunities coming up for our MTMS students! *Our 3D printing class in December filled up so quickly, we are opening up another workshop! Students will work with Mr. Cooper to learn how to design and print their own creations using 3D software. It runs February 26-29 from 2:25-4:30. *Has your child ever wanted to publish a book? Now is their chance! Students will work together to write and illustrate a class book in this brand new CAPS CREW opportunity! Retired CAPS teacher Dave Foley, along with Miss Marla Courtney, will help students write and illustrate a real book! At the end of the six week workshop, we will send all of the material in to have it published into a full-color standard book that each student will get to take home! We will meet every Wednesday from February 28th until April 10th (skipping Spring Break) from 2:25-4:30pm. You can register for either of these CAPS CREW workshops at www.cadillacschools.org/crew
