DHD#10 is hosting this community presentation to highlight how to protect yourself, your family, and your home using integrated pest management from the following bugs: bed bugs, ticks, and mosquitos. This is beneficial for residents, campers, hikers, pet owners, apartment managers, hotel/motel managers, short-term rental managers, children’s camp administrators, commissioners on aging, and anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors, in and around Wexford County.

Your child will dive into a series of engaging lessons designed to empower them with essential knowledge about Sun Safety, Nutrition, Dental Hygiene, and more! The six 2-hour sessions are FREE for any K-12 CAPS student and will take place at Franklin Elementary every Wednesday from 10am-Noon starting June 26 and ending on July 31. Each class is packed with interactive learning experiences that cater to all age groups and will feature dynamic group discussions followed by hands-on activities tailored to elementary, middle, or high school levels. Plus, we'll wrap up each session with a craft or activity where they can put their newfound knowledge into practice in a fun and creative way.

Three Free Dinner Kits at Lincoln Family Meal Night.
Lincoln Elementary, in partnership with Chartwells Dining Services, is hosting a Family Meal Night on Wednesday, May 1st from 5:15-6:15pm! This is completely free to the first 25 families that register. We have room for each family to bring up to 5 members. Each family will leave with 3 meals provided to cook in their own home.

~Veggie Pasta Salad
Chartwells Executive Chef Lennah and Miss Tammy, our Resident Dietitian for the CAPS District, will be demonstrating the Veggie Pasta Salad. Recipes will be provided with a link to a video on how to cook each meal as well as a cost sheet on all ingredients provided via Save-a-Lot costs. We will also educate families on the health benefits of each meal.

It's Lincoln Elementary School's Grab & Go FREE Spring Clothing event, on Saturday, April 13 from 9am-11am in the front loop of the school. Stop by and "grab" some gently used clothing for the spring and summer season. (Drop off any donations between 4pm and 5:30pm today (Friday, 4/12). There is no need to donate to participate on Saturday, all are welcome.
