4th Grade students learned about nutrition and "Built a Parfait"
CAPS Dietician led 4th grade students on an incredible journey to build their own parfait and learn about the benefits of this delicious treat!
Yogurt- Excellent source of protein and rich in calcium (creates and maintains bone structure)
Bananas-Great source of potassium and fiber (provides energy and promotes muscle function)
Strawberries-Excellent source of vitamin C and potassium (Rich in antioxidants and plant compounds benefits for heart health)
Blueberries-SUPERFOOD Rich in antioxidants (helps maintain brain function increases memory and may decrease muscle damage after a strenuous workout)
