  • Yes, breakfast and lunch is provided.

Will the parents pick students up at Caberfae or back at school if they go skiing?

  • CAPS will provide transportation to and from Caberfae. Parents will pick their child up back at the school at 3pm.

How do I edit my registration and sign my child up for another activity?|Call  231.876.5040 to update your student's selection or email communityrelations@cadillacschools.org

When do I pay?
If a parent has signed up for a paid activity, he/she will receive an email after the holiday to register and pay for off-site activities.   If you are interested in sponsoring a student please contact 231.876.5040 or email communityrelations@cadillacschools.org

I signed my kids up for skiing. Are they doing this every day so it is $25 a day for each one, or is it one day and I need to sign them up for other activities for the other days? I was under the impression whatever was chosen would be what they did all four days.

  • Enrichment programming will be scheduled for all four days free of charge. Students may opt to go skiing one of the four days for a fee

  • The complete schedule will be provided after the holiday break.  Paid activities are optional and require prepayment and preregistration, which will be sent to parents after the holiday break.

  • If they are signed up for the week and are not participating in a paid activity that day, then they will participate in the free activities offered at the school. Students will rotate through different sessions & they will not need money on those days. Money is only needed if they sign up for the optional add-on activities and that will be collected ahead of time.

How do I know if someone signed my student up?

  • If you feel that someone else may have signed up your student then please clarify that information with them.

  • If you are unable to clarify that information with them then, please register your student if you would like them to attend.

For the winter break activities if we were to sign up 4 kids up for the water park, would they all go together?  Or are there different groups going on different days? Do you have to be signed up for the in-school daily activities to do the out-of-school activities?

  • We won’t know which days kids are doing each activity until the sign-up period is over and we know how many kids are signed up for each session. The optional paid activities will take place during the school day (between 8am and 3pm) so the child does need to come to the building each day for transportation to the events. Again, we won’t know which events are taking place on which days until we finalize registration numbers. We are encouraging families to sign up now so we can form a plan.

When will more details be released? I don’t want to sign my students up until I know more. Locations, session specifics, etc….

For planning purposes, registration will close on December 21st.  You will have the opportunity to cancel before the Winter Break.

You are encouraged to sign up now to get more information. You may cancel before Winter Break with no financial commitment at this time.

When is the money due? Is it due at registration or before the date in February?

Payment will be collected in January.
