DHD#10 is hosting this community presentation to highlight how to protect yourself, your family, and your home using integrated pest management from the following bugs: bed bugs, ticks, and mosquitos. This is beneficial for residents, campers, hikers, pet owners, apartment managers, hotel/motel managers, short-term rental managers, children’s camp administrators, commissioners on aging, and anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors, in and around Wexford County.

Your child will dive into a series of engaging lessons designed to empower them with essential knowledge about Sun Safety, Nutrition, Dental Hygiene, and more! The six 2-hour sessions are FREE for any K-12 CAPS student and will take place at Franklin Elementary every Wednesday from 10am-Noon starting June 26 and ending on July 31. Each class is packed with interactive learning experiences that cater to all age groups and will feature dynamic group discussions followed by hands-on activities tailored to elementary, middle, or high school levels. Plus, we'll wrap up each session with a craft or activity where they can put their newfound knowledge into practice in a fun and creative way.

CAPS Families this is a reminder that Monday, May 13 is a Late Start Monday for students. Cadillac High School and Innovation begin at 9:20, Mackinaw Trail Middle School begins at 9:05 and elementary schools begin at 10:00 am. Busses will pick up students 1 1/2 hours later tomorrow morning.
